Above & Beyond have announced Andrew Bayer as opener for their upcoming Group Therapy shows at Shrine in Los Angeles and Warfield in San Francisco.

With 6 of his productions featuring on the recent Anjunadeep 04 compilation, the Washington-raised producer is one of the most prolific and eclectic producers in today’s scene, with recent EPs and singles covering everything from deep house and downtempo electronica, to progressive and deep trance. A perfect snapshot of his eclectic experimentation, Bayer’s debut album “It’s Artificial” was released last summer and described by Mixmag as “an incredible album of sophisticated electronica”. A second entirely downtempo album is planned for fall 2012.

After 10,000 #GroupTherapyLA tickets sold in under two hours and San Francisco’s Warfield venue sold out in a record 12 minutes, ‘Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy shows rank among California’s most hotly anticipated events this summer. To satisfy demand, additional dates have now been added at Shrine LA on Thursday May 17th and at Warfield in San Francisco on Thursday June 21.
