Welcome back for another Progressive Saturday here on MYN! Summer is here and so is plenty of new trance and progressive. This week I have a few new tracks and remixes for you to all enjoy. We will be hearing material from Orjan Nilsen, David Gravell, Skytech, Gal Abutbul, Will Atkinson, Lostly, and Angry Man. Time for some music!
Orjan is back with his latest track “XIING”, a mix between trance and progressive house with a cool Eastern European sound. The unique lead and ‘yuuuh’ sound (similar to the sound generated in “Copperfield”) make for a very fun track. Check it out!

The latest track from W&W’s Mainstage Music that is making a lot of noise is David Gravell’s “Bulldozer”. This track has a HUGE sound, similar to the progressive trance track “Requiem”. Booming kick and powerful piercing leads result in a crushing sound that is terrific. You will like this one!

I love me some Skytech! Skytech’s new track “Clear Vision” has just started circulating on the major radio shows and it does not disappoint. With that classic deep melodic sound Skytech is known for, a fantastic melody and bangin’ groove come together to make a great tune. Enjoy!

One of my favorite tracks from the On The Beach disc of A State Of Trance 2013 has a great new remix! Gal Abutbul put his touch on “Made For You” by The Blizzard & Daniel van Sand, featuring Julie Thompson. The remix sounds amazing with its Balearic guitar and arpeggio lead. Kick back and soak this one in!

Up next is Will Atkinson’s remix of “Breathe”, by John O’Callaghan and Full Tilt featuring Karen Kelly. The cascading gated leads sound fantastic and the groove after the break is very fun. This one is a great remix all around.

Lostly’s “These Streets” featuring Roberta Harrison is up next and it is a very solid trance track. Mellow yet driving, this track does a great job of not being too high energy while still capturing your attention. I really enjoyed the soft but meaningful vocals and bassline in the track. Simply put this track reminds me a lot of old school trance and I love it.

The last track of this Saturday is one I heard during Simon Patterson’s set at EDC, and instantly loved. Any remix of Oakenfold’s “Southern Sun” will always get to me, the track is a true classic. Angry Man did a fantastic job crafting a 140 bpm tech-trance monster out of the original. With a beautiful breakdown that pays tribute to the original and a drop that overwhelms with acidy darkness this track is a winner.

That is all for this week, please connect with the artists and I will see you all next Saturday! Have a good one.
