Hey everyone, welcome back to another edition of Tipsy Tree Thursdays here on Music You Need. This week I’m featuring Seattle-based producer, VAENOM.
The first track is a work in progress, but I feel like it’s worth sharing in its current state. “Coffee” is a funky house tune that almost has a glitch hop feel to it. I love the tension built throughout with this catchy melody with chopped vocals accompanying it. I’m sure it’ll be a finalized song soon, so keep an eye out for it and in the mean time, listen below.
The next track, another work in progress, is “Primetime Shine.” It’s another funky house tune and has a gnarly synth going on. This is a rage tune if I’ve ever heard one. I can’t wait to hear where he takes it. Check it out below.
Looking for some Dubstep? If so, check out VAENOM’s submission to the remix competition for Dragonette’s “My Legs.” Honestly, it’s way better than the original, so great job by VAENOM. I love the synth work after the drop. It has a really cool melody and I like the effects on the vocals. Great remix, give it a listen.
The last track that I’m featuring today is a Trance instrumental by VAENOM called “Seneca.” Like the other tracks, it has great progression throughout. I like seeing what VAENOM brings to Trance because it brings a genuine vibe and I love the breakdown in the middle. It ends with some halftime and adds some dynamic effect to the track. Listen below!
VAENOM may have a few WIPs on his SoundCloud, but I really enjoy what I hear and I’m excited to see where it’s going this year. Give VAENOM some love below.
