February 25th was the seventh installment of the Boiler Room Make Sessions, titled Make Session 007, which was a successful event where Red Stripe teamed up with Bespoke Bicycle Company, 14 Bike Co., during the world’s leading underground music show, Boiler Room. This night was fully stacked with four of the best underground DJs around combined with live makes from the creators of some of the UK’s hottest fixies.
DJs Steve Braiden, XXXY, Midland, and Paul Woolford took to the decks back to back while 14 Bike Co. built five bespoke Red Stripe inspired fixed-gear bikes; Live. 14 Bike Co. added a creative and urban element to the mix of the already-established Boiler Room. As the decks spun, the components – handlebars, wheels, saddle, and frames – were all assembled to create the priceless fixies.
Underground music pioneer Steve Braiden, brought an amalgam of experimental electro, harmonious house, and the most developed and deep techno to the Boiler Room that night. Back to back from Steve Braiden was bass heavy electro and garage junkie, XXXY. Following XXXY were the cutting edge remix DJs, Midland and Paul Woolford, who played b2b and brought an eclectic mix of electro, house, experimental techno, 2-step and dub into the room.
