Many folks are looking forward to the future, filled with sustainable forward thinking and consciousnesses. With that in mind, we are pleased to gather and celebrate with with our friends who share this same vision at Lightning in a Bottle! Recently The Do LaB announced that Lightning in a Bottle 2013 will have a new location and date. This year you can join Lightning in a Bottle at Lake Skinner in Temecula, CA on July 11th-15th 2013. Lake Skinner County Park is a beauty of a place for the festival to set up residence and LIB will now expand to allow a capacity of 15,000 participants giving its attendees more amenities, while allowing them more space to enjoy the majesty of nature. The unbelievable lineup will be announced on April 23rd, 2013 and you can grab pre-sale tickets for a full 48 hours beginning on Tuesday, February 12th at 10am PST until Feb 14th.
The Do LaB has been infamously known for bringing their creativity, design, and expression through art installations and music to LIB, The Great Convergence, Coachella, and many other bangin’ shows around Los Angeles and San Diego. Their installations are used with natural materials, found objects, and sustainable resources, so you can enjoy the interactive experiences while gearing towards a better, more conscientious future.
The festival will present three main stages for music and performance art with many smaller stages and interactive areas for LIB participants to explore. There will be workshops, speakers, and intimate music sessions, in addition to the main stage attractions. Last year’s Lightning in a Bottle featured superstar headliners Bassnectar, Glitch Mob, Shpongle, Big Gigantic, Lucent Dossier Experience, Eoto, and more. Music You Need was pleased to give an event review of LIB 2012 and take pictures of this life-changing event. Please check back in with us to hear about LIB’s upcoming lineup, and remember to buy your tickets early to join The Do LaB at Lightning in a Bottle for this year’s amazing festivities.
