Welcome back to “Take a Break: Volume 10!” Double digits! I’ve got several beautiful tracks for you that seem to be house-heavy this week. In short, if you enjoy house music, stick around. I’ve also got some other genres as well, so even if that isn’t your thing, check out the other tunes here! The lineup for this week is Silent Rider, Tim Mason, CTwo, The Analog Affair, and CHANGE.
We’ll begin with a new remix by Silent Rider of Drop The Lime’s “No Sleep For The Wicked.” It’s kind of an indie-electronic mix that is a bit repetitive but in a very good way. I have no problems with music that repeats many of its sounds as long as it sounds nice, and this track does just that. It’s a very chill beginning to this week’s set list.

This is one that has been in anticipation for quite some time! Following two huge hits “The Moment” and “Anima” in 2011, fans have been eagerly awaiting Tim Mason’s return to the music scene, and it seems he has arrived. This is a fantastic progressive house tune that is blowing up everywhere right now. Check it out.

I’ve always known CTwo for his dubstep tracks. In fact, that’s what most people know him for. Well, he’s decided to mix it up a little and release a new deep house track as a way to branch off from the usual. I think he’s done an amazing job with it, and I found myself zoning out for a few minutes while listening to it. This is the most chill track on my list this week in my opinion. Here you go, house-lovers.

The Analog Affair
This new song by The Analog Affair is simply stunning. It embodies everything about indie music, and culminates to an exciting and unexpected ending that just leaves you feeling warm inside. I can’t say enough positive things about this song. The only thing is that it feels so short; I wish it would continue after it stops!

This track is actually CHANGE’s contest entry for a progressive house remix of “Weapon” by Cazzette. I’ve heard a few of these entries at this point, and I don’t know which one is my favorite, but CHANGE’s is definitely up there. It’s very relaxing, and it still captures the essence of the original mix with some soft spots mixed with other upbeat, melodic interludes. CHAGNE has always been especially great with remixes in my opinion.

That’s all for this week, everyone! Hope you enjoyed it as usual. I’ll be back in a week for more relaxing beats for you all!
