2013 is quickly approaching and there is a great festival coming up in the mountains in California. On December 29-31, 2012, South Lake Tahoe will once again find itself home to SnowGlobe Music Festival for the second year in a row. This year showcases an unbelievably good lineup with headliners for the three nights; Wiz Khalifa, deadmau5, and Chromeo. They have really worked towards compiling a list of massive stars alongside great breakthrough artists. With the beautiful snowy backdrop of Lake Tahoe, SnowGlobe promises to be a next level festival experience. There will be three stages again this year; Main Stage, the Sierra Tent, and the Techibeats Stage.

Saturday afternoon starts off the festivities. South Lake Tahoe will be buzzing with tourists for New Years Eve and festival goers alike. We’re excited to see how SnowGlobe stepped up their game with the whole “experience.” Visuals, sound, and atmosphere are all things that we think you’ll see improvements in over last year. We’re excited to see performances by Lynx, Baauer, Big Gigantic, Clockwork, Beats Antique, Minnesota, and of course the man of the night, headliner Wiz Khalifa.

Sunday night is sure to be a good one with tons of great music across the board. We have a few lineup discrepancies for this one. Who to see and who to skip? To dip out during the middle of a killer set for another, or to stay and see the whole thing? Oh, the problems that come with deciding. On Saturday we’re literally excited for the entire lineup, but to nail it down I’ll say Cherub, GRiZ, MiM0SA, Flosstradamus, and naturally the poster boy of EDM, deadmau5, who found himself on the cover of none other than Rolling Stone Magazine this summer.

New Years Eve will fall on Monday December, 31st, which will be the final night of the show, and naturally the wildest. The previous two nights of the festival end at 10 PM, but of course Chromeo will do their best to help usher festival goers into 2013 with a set going through to 12:30 PM. Along with them, we’re stoked to see Ana Sia, Boombox, Sugarpill, ill.Gates, Gramatik, and of course the old favorite Laidback Luke. There are a variety of reasonably priced ticket options this year including: Three day General Admission and three day VIP, as well as single day GA and single day NYE VIP.
