If you haven’t been paying attention to Mak & Pasteman than do yourself a favor and hop to it. These guys are making a name for themselves very quickly and this most recent remix of Debian Blak’s “Hawks & Spies” is just another example of their production prowess. The original track is a tripped out shoe-gazey type track with Debian Blak’s sweet and sultry voice crooning over the top of super bubbly synths. The boys from Mak and Pasteman have picked the pace up a bit, added a bit more oomph with some stronger synths in the background, and put the vocals on display big time. Their remix has taken a tune for a tripped out summer day, and turned it into a backyard party starter. Good work!
