Welcome back to another edition of Tipsy Tree Thursdays here on musicyouneed.net. This week I’m featuring DallasK, another excellent DJ and producer from Orlando, Florida. This 21 year old is doing big things in the EDM world and if you haven’t heard of him yet, I’m here to bring you up to speed. Some of these tracks are older, but I think it’s important to get a grasp on what DallasK is capable of, because in the upcoming months, everyone is going to have heard of DallasK. Let’s get to the music.
The first track is a mashup/bootleg combining Skrillex and Leon Bolier to create Right Us. It’s an excellent mixture of utilizing Skrillex’s chopped up vocal drops and random percussion mixed with the heavy hitting bass of Leon Boiler’s signature sound. It’s fantastic and is a free download.
DallasK gave some love and attention to Tune in Tokyo’s Ray of Love and made an official remix for them. He transforms the track into an Electro House festival anthem. This song is massive, has a huge presence, and is ready to be played on a loud sound system. Here’s a preview, if you like it, make sure to pick it up on Beatport.
It’s no secret that I love Spencer & Hill, so I was immediately interested when I saw that DallasK made a remix of One Touch Away. This is a perfect track for my sets. I love the synth work and the crazy drop that would force any crowd to explode. It’s fantastic, give the preview a listen below and buy the track on Beatport.
