Pretty Lights is back with another way to help you redefine electronic music. His newest track “So Bright,” was released today and embodies his presence in the music community in content and title. Moving towards the front of the pack while becoming increasingly popular, I see no limit to the ever increasing shine from Pretty Lights. This dude has been essential in the furthering of the free music movement. Every last single, EP, and album he has ever released has been available for free download at the Pretty Lights Music official site. He has risen to heights many only dream of while readily welcoming every willing listener with open arms. In that respect, I urge all artists to take a good hard look at the model Derek Vincent Smith has set before you. Self described as electro hip hop soul, I would also slap on dubstep and glitch hop for this one, but in the end you can’t box this guy in.
