Welcome back to a very special Progressive Saturdays, I say that because yesterday (9/14) was the release of Universal Religion Chapter Six! For those who don’t know about the Universal Religion Compilations they are mixes by Armin van Buuren that try to capture the essence of summer and are released usually every couple of years. The mix is recorded live, this year at shows at Ibiza’s Privilege Nightclub. After Chapter 5′s great success last year Armin decided to not wait and do another Chapter this year, a move appreciated by all! With the roar and cheers of the crowd the live recording provides the ambiance of a live show, giving a unique sound compared to normal mixes. The Compilation is two discs, each their own set and each one very good. Each mix is full of great tracks with a few new releases, well known favorites, and a couple of Armin’s signature mashups. Of course the real experience of the Compilation is the mixes themselves not necessarily the individual tracks so please get a hold of Universal Religion Chapter Six for the real experience!
