Welp, the instant electro house classic, Brain Candy, by Nexus, now has its own remix EP! Big ups to these kids making a big impact already. Featuring remixes by David Heartbreak (a talented trap/ratchet/future bass artist), Joman, Bailey Smalls, VASS, and Pirate Stereo, this EP packs a punch and delivers some amazing diversity. David Heartbreak’s is a mellow, semi-trap sounding remix that I really enjoyed, with some dope hi hats and repeated vocal samples. Joman turns the track into a tech house groovy, sexy mess. VASS’ remix is perhaps my favorite; he has transformed it into an absolutely massive trap track, with booming bass, intense synths, and a slowed tempo that compliments all the sounds in the track.
