This artist spotlight is about a guy we’ve already featured, but who has recently changed his name and his sound, and we wanted to highlight some awesomeness. Yes, Jimmy Burns is yet another budding trap artist, however this guy is an experienced DJ who wanted to bring something different to the table. He does an excellent job of incorporating different synth sounds and vocal as well as sound effects in the tracks that you’re gonna love. After growing up in California, James Burnell (Skywalkerr) embarked on his college journey to University of Colorado. Which ultimately lead him to producing / dj’ing. James attended CU where he taught himself to DJ, gained fans, and began branding the name Skywalkerr. Post graduation, James returned to California where he started to produce other styles of music rather than Dn’B or dubstep. James had started to produce with his best friend from High School, Ryan Marks. They began dabbling in trap, moomba, and disco. Jimmy Burns was instantly created to release James Burnell’s trap sound under a new persona.
