Groovy time. Matteo DiMarr has a three pack of brand spankin’ new tracks you gotta hear. First up is Tom Toms Revenge; this tribal beat tech house track, with pounding bongos, a hollow bamboo sounding percussion hit, a dope vocal loop, and a nice little maracca shake. All the elements fuse perfectly and create an amazing track.
The remix of Tom Toms Revenge by My Digital Enemy keeps the tribal sound, but slows the beat a little, cleans up the mid and high sounds, and adds a sweet choppy synth that turns this track in a different direction. It becomes a little spacey sounding and is a little more intense than the original.
Can’t Stop The is the third and final track, and it’s a nice way to round out the three. A little more mellow and transitional than the first two, this one has awesome vocal samples, a clap percussion, and a nice intense build I really like. Give it a listen and see what you think!
