MYN Progressive Saturdays4 Progressive Saturdays w/ Arnej, Rafael Frost, 4 Strings, Mimax, Lange, Lian July, Future Disciple

Welcome back to another week of Progressive Saturdays, I have some pretty cool new tracks and songs for you all. This week’s lineup features Arnej, Rafael Frost, 4 Strings, Mimax, Lange, Lian July, and Future Disciple. Hopefully there are a few names you haven’t heard before, and maybe a future superstar.

This first track starts off with a great FX or sample that sounds like a Reaper from Mass Effect, a real attention get’er. The Second Coming, by Arnej then slowly gains that great Coldharbour dark progressive sound that just builds anticipation for the listener, this is a great intro track.

This week we have another remix from Rafael Frost that is absolutely brilliant. It is featured on Tritonal’s Piercing The Quiet, The Remixes. Here is Tritonal feat. Jenry R. – Something New (Rafael Frost Remix).

Say what you will, but 4 Strings consistently delivers great tunes, as well as a few classics. This next one doesn’t even come close to falling short, here is 4 Strings, The Other Side.

This next track was featured on Above & Beyond’s Trance Around The World and Markus Schulz’s Global DJ Broadcast. This is a big one from Mimax called Insomnia.

Next up we have a song from Lange featuring Stine Grove called Crossroads. This song starts off with a nice phat bassline and some dark emotional vocals. It has a great progressive melody that drives it home so enjoy!

This next track is a very solid progressive trance tune. It features an excellent climaxing chord progression and drops into a very rhythmic progressive section. This is Matt Darey and Kate Louise Smith – I Still Remember (Lian July Remix).

Lastly we have a long one but it is amazing and well worth the 8 minutes so please listen to the whole thing. It has a very tasteful Balearic trance guitar breakdown and a crazy good drop so enjoy it its fantastic. Solarstone with Aly & Fila – Fireisland (Future Disciple Remix).

I hope this made your weekend that much better, as always it was fun and come back next week for more great Trance and Progressive!
