Welcome to another week of Progressive Saturdays here on MYN, last week I said I would be reviewing Andy Moor’s new album but since then I’ve been thoroughly caught by Ashley Wallbridge’s debut album The Inner Me, so I figured I’d share it with you all and save Andy Moor’s album for a later date. For those of you who don’t know who Ashley Wallbridge is he is an English DJ and Producer of the finest sort who is currently signed under Armada. Wallbridge is know for his very melodic trance and rich, exceptionally well produced synth leads. Ashley definitely has a unique sound, that English trance sound if you will. His tracks are very well produced with layer on top of layer that all come together perfectly to make an exceptional tune. The Inner Me is a brilliant debut album in my opinion. It shows the range at which Wallbridge is already capable of from the down tempo These Walls to the spine tingly euphoric rush that is World To Turn, not a single track left me unimpressed. The album starts of much more down tempo as it should and continues with some great progressive trance tunes that just keep building and then climax and level off at the end. The album listens like a mix and flows like one two and over all is just very well done. Below are a great deal of the songs from the ablum so please listen and I am certain you will be impressed. And please go out and get the album so you can experience it as intended. Enjoy!
