It’s happened again. I’ve found out about another up and coming artist hailing from the streets of San Luis Obispo, CA. This time, I’d like to introduce you to Midnight Smack; a DJ/producer that has been unleashing some fierce trap sounds, as well as experimenting with pretty impressive trip hop beats. Nick Siamas’ parents knew they had a musical prodigy on their hands when he was born, not from his mother’s womb, but by smashing his way out of their stereo speakers. It was at that moment, holding an 8-track cassette deck and a midi keyboard that he faced his musical destiny head on. Now composing under the name, “Midnight Smack,” Siamas is experimenting with new styles and genres like Bill Nye the Trip Hop Guy. He’s built up a reputation in the San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles area as a DJ/Producer who doesn’t disappoint, musically or sexually.
